September 5, 2013
Dr. Daryl Linnell, Dr. Erin Harnish, and PA Lacey Carpenter will be joining PeaceHealth Medical Group and closing Pediatric Clinic October 21st, 2013 due to recent provider changes within our practice as well as the medical community. Our physicians, providers, and entire staff have so enjoyed caring for your children and your families and we will miss our beloved clinic.
Many options have been considered and we believe that this move is in the best interest of our staff and patients. We hope to make this transitions possible for everyone. We will continue care for our patients and operate as usual in our current location through October 20th and thereafter at PeaceHealth, St. John’s Medical Center. We will strive to continue the same patient-friendly and committed care in our new location that we have provided for all these years. For any life threatening emergencies after our closure, please call 911 immediately. All non emergencies, refill requests, appointments, or other clinical needs, please contact PeaceHealth directly at (360) 414-2000.
For patients planning to continue care with our providers, you will need to contact the PeaceHealth New Patient Coordinator at (360) 414-2301 who will help assist with this transfer. For our patients with private insurance you should be able to transfer with us to PeaceHealth as they contract with almost all of your insurances. You should contact your insurance directly or call PeaceHealth at (360) 414-2301 for further questions or advise.
For our managed care Medicaid patients, PeaceHealth does not have a current contract with the following healthy options plans; Molina Healthcare of Washington, United Healthcare healthy options, or Coordinated Care. We hope to continue care with all our patients. If you wish to continue care with our providers, you will need to request to change to Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) by the 15th of the preceeding month of change, using one of the following methods:
Provider One - Call 1-800-562-3022
Provider One Web Portal - Go to https://www.providerone.org/client
For patients who wish to transfer care elsewhere, an authorization to release medical records is available on our website or at our office through the end of October. After 11/1/13, future requests can be mailed to:
Pediatric Clinic, Attn: Medical Records, 784 14th Ave, Longview, WA 98632 or Faxed to: 360-636-1297.
Thank you for being understanding and patient with all of the changes taking place. If you still have questions, please call our office at 360-425-6111. Please visit our website for future updates: www.pedsclinic.com.

Pediatric Clinic Welcomes You!
Thank You for visiting our website and choosing Pediatric Clinic as your health care choice for your children. Look to Pediatric Clinic to provide care you can trust and to treat you as family. Founded in 1963, Pediatric Clinic remains the oldest pediatric group in the Longview, Washington area. We are located in a convenient location across from St John Medical Center.
We are particularly proud of our record of care for newborns, and of our physician coverage arrangements, which allows one doctor to be free at all times for exclusive coverage of serious emergencies and the care of critically ill children. We treat a broad spectrum of childhood health problems, well child care, immunizations, developmental screenings, vision and hearing screenings, and much more. We also maintain a laboratory facility at our office for your convenience.
All physicians at the Pediatric Clinic have successfully completed pediatric residency programs, board certified in pediatrics, and belong to the American Academy of Pediatrics, which is a national professional organization for physicians caring for young people. Each physician has been certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and completes at least 50 hours of post-graduating training per year to keep up with new developments.
We look forward to getting to know you better, and hope you will notify us if you experience any difficulties or inconveniences along the way. Once again, thank you for your support. We enjoy caring for the children of our community.
Dr. Saxer says good-bye!
To my wonderful patients and their families,
After twelve years of practice, I will be ending my career at the Pediatric Clinic as of May 30th. My family and I are starting the next chapter in our lives in Eugene, Oregon.
It has been an honor to care for you and your children and to see your children grow, develop, and mature! I have been privileged to share in many of your families’ most joyful and miraculous times as well as your more difficult and challenging times.
I will miss you very much! My experience at the Pediatric Clinic has been invaluable because of all of you!
Dr. Jennifer Saxer
